Egyptian cotton placemats and napkins crafted by master women weavers in Akhmim, a town in the south of Egypt on the east bank of the Nile, which has flourished as a weaving center for over 4000 years. This set features 2 placemats and 2 napkins in matching colours. The edges are decorated with delicate fringes. Brighten your dining table with those attractive multicolored placemats. This project gives the opportunity for girls and women to perpetuate a 4000 years old local textile industry by allowing them to weave traditional products and revive Coptic and Islamic designs from the region dating back to the 3rd century AD.

Dandarah is a woman-owned social enterprise with a mission to support artisans and sustain traditional crafts. They work directly with economically and socially marginalized artisans in Egypt, mostly women and minorities, to improve their economic and social conditions.

Return policy applicable for 30 days. For returns, items must be unused and in the same condition received, must be in the original packaging and receipt or proof of purchase required. Refunds will be issued using the same method of payment. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
